Omri Green, is a 14 year veteran of the Union Square Hospitality Group (USHG), most recently as Director of Special Projects for Union Square Events (USE), USHG’s Catering and Venue Hospitality business. He was responsible for guiding USE’s strategic growth through new business development as well as directing USHG’s consulting relationships. In his previous capacity at USE Omri was Operations Manager, responsible for event operations logistics, the beverage program, USE facility management, and large scale special event projects. Omri began his career with USHG in 2003, where he helped launch Blue Smoke Catering, USHG's first foray into catering.
Some of the recent ventures that Omri helped develop and launch during his tenure at USHG include: Intersect by Lexus, New York (TBD); GreenRiver, Chicago (2015), the launch of USHG brands in national Sports & Entertainment outlets including: Shake Shack, Blue Smoke on the Road, El Verano Taqueria, Box Frites and Papa Rosso.
Omri lives in Nyack, New York, with his wife, two kids and two dogs. He is an avid gardener, tending to 'Green Family Farm' from May through October. In his spare time, he trains for endurance sports and has raced in four marathons, one Ironman, and four Half-Ironman competitions over the last four years.
